Proposals appropriate for submission to this topic area include those that focus on supervision/clinical instruction/precepting/mentoring in undergraduate through post-graduate experiences. Other issues include training in supervision, issues related to supervision and research in the area of supervision and precepting practice. Submissions may target the following audiences: Clinical educators of assistants, undergraduate and graduate students, preceptors of audiology externs, mentors of Clinical Fellows, supervisors of support personnel (other than business/practice management) and supervisors of those in transition to those in a new area of practice or reentering the professions. Interprofessional education, practice, and/or research that addresses the implementation of interprofessional competencies within curricular or practice models or the evaluation of collaborative care outcomes specific to supervision and precepting should be included in this topic area.
