The 2023 ASHA Convention "Virtual Extra" program content will be available to view from November 9–29, 2023. The Virtual Extra is our online collection of pre-recorded, on-demand education sessions and posters. In addition, a limited selection of sessions taking place during the in-person event in Boston will be live-broadcasted (slides and audio only) to the virtual platform.
The Virtual Extra sessions are open for everyone to view, however, you may only claim continuing education credit for them if you are a full ASHA Convention or virtual-only registrant. (One-day in-person registrants are not eligible.)
You will find pre-recorded, on-demand sessions in a several formats:
(Please note: In-person sessions that take place at the ASHA Convention in Boston will NOT be recorded for the Virtual Extra online platform.)
A selection of sessions taking place during the in-person event will be live-broadcasted (slides and audio only) to the Virtual Extra platform.
All oral seminar presenters are asked to provide handouts, such as a session outline, agenda, or reference list, in advance of their presentation. Handouts for in-person sessions are available through the Program Planner and ASHA Convention mobile app.
All Virtual Extra sessions are eligible for ASHA Continuing Education Credit or Professional Development Hours, but you must be registered for either the full ASHA Convention or virtual-only access to claim credit.
