The 2023 Convention will primarily be an in-person event, however, we are still offering some content online. (We are not considering this year's Convention a true hybrid event, since that term typically applies to a robust and equal online experience.)
We’re expanding our use of the iPosters virtual platform for our "Virtual Extra" online content. Between November 9–29, you may view on-demand interactive poster presentations, technical clinical and technical research sessions, and new technical demos on the iPosters platform. A limited selection of pre-determined in-person sessions taking place at the ASHA Convention in Boston will also be broadcasted live (slides and audio only) to the virtual platform.
The Virtual Extra sessions will be publicly available for anyone to view; however, you can only claim continuing education credit for them if you are a full ASHA Convention or virtual-only registrant. (One-day registration does not allow you to claim continuing education credit for Virtual Extra sessions.) If you can't join us in Boston for the ASHA Convention, the good news is that we are offering a lower virtual-only registration rate this year!
Here are some things to look forward to in Boston:

We’re really fired up about our 2023 ASHA Convention theme, “Igniting Innovation,” which is about finding the “I” in innovation. We’re celebrating how each of us is creative in a unique way and how that translates to innovation. Innovation can be anything from incremental to systemic and from low-risk to high-risk, so we can all contribute to a culture of innovation! We’ll be exploring the different types of innovation to help you find your inspiration—the color of your spark. Everyone is an innovator whose spark can ignite change for the better.
Boston, a hub for the technology and medical industries, and home to numerous universities, is known for innovation. It’s the perfect host city for the 2023 ASHA Convention!
